Pedro Romero-Nieva Santos, better known in the United States as Pedro Santos, was born on December 7, 1988 in Madrid, Spain.

He has a degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences from the INEF in Madrid, and his career as a coach began in the youth categories of the A.D Gigantes and, briefly, in the C.D Leganés, among other clubs. 

In 2012 he moved to the United States where he has combined his facet as a player in the university leagues, a postgraduate student, having studied a master’s degree in Sports Administration, Physical Education and Leadership, and as a coach in different clubs until arriving at LA Galaxy where he has worked for the last three seasons.

In LA Galaxy Pedro had the opportunity to work with the first team as part of the physical trainers corps, and then to make the leap as a full time Head Coach in the U15, U17 categories, and finally as Second Coach of LA Galaxy II.
