Gregory Bernard, born on July 14, 1948 in Marseille and after playing as a goalkeeper for FC Martigues (French second and third division) was one of the best goalkeepers in the second division.

After finishing his career as a player, he decided to train and advance his knowledge in order to develop the young goalkeepers in his area.

Thanks to his great work in the lower categories and regional clubs in France, Olympique de Marseille decided to incorporate Gregory into their ranks to train the first team goalkeepers.
